Project Details

The Marketing team develops comprehensive integrated marketing strategies for the campus as a whole and for its component parts. For example, in 2006, Marketing led a campus-wide integrated branding initiative. With the establishment of a new campus brand and integrated marketing platform, key communication vehicles were subsequently re-branded and instituted to feature the official campus logos, colors and typography and messages.

Many of the materials rolled out from this and companion initiatives have won national awards, including the 111 Facts admissions brochure, the revamped campus magazine and the campus umbrella website shown above. The central piece from a UCR Summer Sessions marketing platform, shown above with a companion trolley bus poster, won a Best Catalog Cover Design from the Western Association of Summer Sessions Administrators. Integrated marketing strategies such as these have extended broadly to such applications as promotional items, wearables and wrapping the campus vanpool fleet (shown above).

Marketing works closely with colleagues in our office (e.g., the OSC Web team and Creative Design Services) and across campus to implement integrated marketing plans.
